The Mata Gujri Library was established in 1993 under the headship of Mr Amarjeet Singh Johal. It was the dedication of Mr Johal and other committee members that it reached the present day state. The main source of income is donations but for certain tasks, projects, Gurdwara Committee also offer financial help in the running of the library.
The library is properly regulated with membership form needs to be filled with a onetime membership fees of £1.50 which in turn gives a membership card. All the books are kept according to the book’s names after the Punjabi alphabets. The extensive collection of books include the following:
Punjabi GCSE and A Level books and novels.
Sri Sarabloh Granth. Gurwaak Chanan and life histories of well known gursikhs and manapurakhs.Presently Mr Kulwant Singh is handling all the management of library along with Mr Amrinder Singh (Youth elected librarian in the present executive committee).
